The chef trained at some of Strasbourg's most well-established eateries before resuming the family business that once belonged to his grandfather. In this former village coffee house turned hostel, Yves Metzger created his gourmet restaurant, which is now one-of-a-kind in the region. His reputation, forged by both an extraordinary talent and audacity, is allied with the convivial welcome and seamless service provided by his wife. To this is added the professionalism of his entire team of staff as well as the hotel and restaurant's warm and familial atmosphere.
The Auberge Metzger hotel invites you to indulge in seasonal dishes created from locally sourced produce. Yves Metzger makes his own home-made terrines and particularly takes pleasure in cooking with game. On his menu, you will also find the great classics of Alsatian cuisine, such as sauerkraut.
